Our official 2015 Fleafest  poster pays homage to the vintage racers of yesteryear where the ingenuity and grass roots mentality of these individuals really took this past-time to new heights.   The 1950’s and 60’s  were the undisputed hey-day of cottage racing where anyone with a few dollars and an old motor could get on the water and have some fun.   Boat Sport Magazine was one of many publications that came out on the news-stands during this era offering news and  technical information to the aspiring racer.
