With expansive docking facilities and calm sheltered water, the area surrounding Muskoka Wharf is perfect for small watercraft. The Muskoka Boat and Heritage Centre also known as “Grace and Speed” is a fantastic showcase of nautical history with both in-water and dry displays of all things related to boating. Home port of the restored Royal Mail Ship Segwun and Wenonah II the Wharf also has numerous restaurants, cafes and shops. CLICK ON THE IMAGE BELOW FOR A LARGER VIEW.
The focal point of the main plaza is anchored by a gazebo that sits in the middle of a large paving stone compass design. This motif harkens back to the days when nautical navigation was entirely dependent on the expertise of sailors with astronomical configurations and sextants. The great thing about this location is its’ proximity to the water, great docking and large grassy areas for land displays. CLICK ON THE IMAGE BELOW FOR A LARGER VIEW.

We will have our portable launch ramp on site that will allow boat owners to hand launch their craft from the concrete dock. This ramp is 8 feet wide and 30 feet long and can easily accommodate small boat trailers or dollies as it gently slopes into the water at a 7 degree angle. The water is only 4 feet deep which makes it an ideal location.

OTHER IMPORTANT STUFF
Please note that boats launched from the dock area near the Segwun must be hand launched. If you need your car to launch your boat, a secondary launch ramp is available beside the Marriott Hotel. Muskoka Seaflea staff will be on site to direct you. All cars and trailers are to be parked in the large parking lot across the street from the Marriott.
(This is a NON-COMPETITION REGATTA! DEMONSTRATION RUNS ONLY! IF YOU WANT TO RACE, THIS IS NOT THE EVENT FOR YOU!)
