Location Overview
Fleafest 2014 was held at Muskoka Wharf. Gravenhurst is the gateway to Muskoka and home port to The Seqwun, the oldest operating steamship in North America. Muskoka Wharf is the gateway to a vast series of lakes including Lake Muskoka, Lake Rosseau and Lake Joseph with hundreds of miles of calm water shorelines, bays and inlets to discover. Gravenhurst and the surrounding Muskoka Lakes region has a long history of boat building, racing and seaflea construction. We were proud to be a part of the 2014 ACBS Summer Boat Show lineup this year and all invited seaflea builders had a fantastic day!

The Muskoka Wharf area in Gravenhurst was absolutely ideal for Fleafest 2014. Tons of free parking, walking distance to shops, vendors and restaurants, boat and marine support, splash park and lots of picnic room. Last year, Scott Dunsmoor from All-Weld Canada fabricated a terrific seaflea launch ramp, and the ramp was again in place this year next to the Segwun dock area where Fleafest participants could trailer their boats into the water. If at any time things got backed up, participants were free to use the alternate boat launch area next to the Marriott hotel.
