Kitsu Noir's Minimost-XL
« on: September 13, 2020, 10:35:55 AM »
Congratulations on getting the plans to me so promptly. Now I can begin my winter project   :-)

I decided to do something a bit different from "xl.swf" or Here. I will use a strong back for the construction. The strong back will be leveled in the X and Y axis. This should help keep everything nicely in alignment. Once the keelson, stringers, and bottom half of the hull are on, then the hull can be removed. The 10 X 2 can be recycled into a ladder strongback for the installation of the deck.

The epoxy lay-upm and painting will have to wait for next spring and warmer weather as I don't favor the idea of toxic fumes and dust in the living space. If all goes well, I might even be able to make Fleafest 2021. Kahshe Lake isn't all that far from my QTH.

Welcome to the XL corner!

I'm very much looking forward to watching your method on this build. Still slogging away on ours!

Damn...cut it three times and it's STILL too short....
